Festival review: Heavens Basement @ Hammerfest, Prestatyn, Wales - 17/03/12

Heavens Basement (8.5/10) walked on stage to a great reaction from the surprisingly full Second Stage during the "difficult" afternoon slot, and got stuck straight in. This is full-on, unashamed hard rock from the start, bordering on metal in places, but always keeping a powerful yet melodic edge.
For such a young band, I have to say great stagecraft...
